It will be a comic book fan’s dream when the upcoming motion picture Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, based on “The World’s Favorite Comic Magazine,” joins forces with Free Comic Book Day on May 5.
20th Century Fox is teaming with over 2000 participating comic book shops in North America that are giving away comic books absolutely free to anyone visiting their stores. Fox will provide participating locations with 100 Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer mini-posters, as well as a theatrical one-sheet for display. In addition, one lucky fan per store will receive the grand prizes: the film’s theatrical one-sheet featuring the Surfer and a specially-designed “Silver Surfer” T-shirt.
Over forty comic book titles – including a Fantastic Four comic will be given away at each location. Issues vary at each market.
