Official Comcast Spider-Man 3 Trailer Announcement

Comcast released the following official announcement this morning regarding the final Spider-Man 3 trailer and additional material that’s on the way:

Spider-Man is slinging his web over Comcast, the nation’s leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, in anticipation of the May 4 worldwide release of Columbia Pictures’ Spider-Man(TM) 3. Beginning Friday, March 23, Comcast customers will have the exclusive opportunity to see the fourth and final trailer for the film on television through Comcast’s signature ON DEMAND service, and online at Comcast.net, the company’s broadband portal, and SpiderMan3OnComcast.com, a custom Web site dedicated to the film. Then, in the coming weeks, viewers will have access to additional exclusive material about the film and forthcoming video game from Activision Publishing, Inc.

In addition to the world premiere of the movie trailer, new content will debut every week on all of the Comcast platforms to bring fans up to speed on the Spider-Man story and give them sneak peaks at the new movie and accompanying video game from Activision. Highlights will include:

— “Catch-up” summaries of the action in the previous movies

— Spider-Man trivia

— Character profiles

— Movie and video game scenes and trailers

Comcast’s GameInvasion.net, a Web site offering a rich entertainment experience for hardcore gaming enthusiasts, will feature a host of videos and interviews providing details on the Spider-Man 3 video game, including exclusive Spider-Man 3 Game trailers, game play footage and character vignettes.

“Comcast is the best place for long-time fans and newcomers to the Spider- Man saga to get ready for the continuing adventures of Peter Parker,” said Kevin Hill, Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships for Comcast Cable. “Our customers get the content they want however they want to watch it-on television through ON DEMAND or online through our 100 percent pure broadband connection.”

Comcast’s Spider-Man 3 content will be available in the ON DEMAND Movies & Events category. On Comcast.net, Comcast High-Speed Internet customers can launch The Fan(TM), Comcast’s broadband media player, to view videos about Spider-Man 3.
