20th Century Fox’s X-Men: The Last Stand, directed by Brett Ratner, has grossed over $200 million in its third weekend according to weekend box office estimates.
It is first and only movie in 2006 to cross this milestone, and it’s currently the #1 grossing movie of the year, just ahead of Fox’s other sequel, “Ice Age: the Meltdown.”
It is less than $14 million away from reaching the total gross of 2003’s X2: X-Men United.
