Exclusive V For Vendetta Set Photos

‘Matt’ has sent in an exclusive look at three photos from the V For Vendetta set. The Warner Bros. adaptation of Alan Moore’s graphic novel, directed by James McTeigue and written by the Wachowski brothers, will hit theaters on November 4th.

Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante (James Purefoy) known only as “V.” Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V’s mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself — and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.

‘Matt’ talks about the filming:

Last night a filmcrew was shooting several scenes for “V for Vendetta” right in front of the house I live in, here in Berlin/Germany near Alexanderplatz (Alexandersquare). The whole movie is being produced in the Babelsberg Studios near Berlin. Stephen Rea and a few other “agents” were moving up and down the street in their grey Rovers while a simulated heavy rain went down on them. Most of the shots were made when it was already dark outside, so I only could take a few pictures of the scenery.
