Box Office Mojo reports that Spider-Man 2 earned another $12 million on Tuesday from 4,152 theaters for a 7-day total of $192.1 million. It was the second-best Tuesday ever, trailing only “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” ($12.4 million).
The Spidey sequel now has a chance to break the first film’s record by reaching the $200 million mark in 8 days today (Wednesday). The first film took 9 days to do so. Stay tuned…
