While Denzel Washington’s “Man on Fire” and Jennifer Garner’s “13 Going on 30” battled it out for the top spot this weekend, with “Kill Bill Vol. 2” in third, ComingSoon.net also has the box office numbers for the comic book adaptations out right now.
Lions Gate’s The Punisher dropped two spots to fourth place with an estimated $6.1 million from 2,649 theaters. The $33 million-budgeted film, starring Tom Jane, has earned $24 million in two weeks.
Sony’s Hellboy, starring Ron Perlman, dropped four spots to eighth with $3 million from 2,218 theaters in its fourth weekend. The $66 million adaptation has made $54.7 million so far.
