Video: Mark Hamill on Star Wars: The Last Jedi!

While we barely got to see the Jedi Master at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, this time around Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker is at the center of the action and the “Last Jedi” that the title refers to. Few people, much less Hamill, ever expected him to return to the big screen as Luke Skywalker, yet here he is. We asked Mark what it was like to get that script for the first time after so many years. We also asked him what it was like to have a director who was a fan as a child and now directing him in the latest installment of the Star Wars saga.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson (BrickLooper) and continues the storylines introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, welcoming back cast members Mark Hamill, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy RidleyJohn Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. New cast members will include Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern, and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.

The sequel is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in regular and IMAX theaters on December 15, 2017.
