Spider-Man, Ironheart, Darth Vader, and more are all featured in previews for Marvel’s Free Comic Book Day 2025 titles.
Marvel Comics is celebrating the annual Free Comic Book Day event with five brand-new issues. All readers and fans need to do is visit their local comic shop on May 3, 2025, to pick up the titles for free.
What is Marvel releasing for Free Comic Book Day 2025?
Free Comic Book Day 2025: Fantastic Four/Giant-Size X-Men #1 comes from writers Ryan North, Collin Kelley, Jackson Lanzing, and Chip Zdarsky, while the artwork is done by Zdarsky, Humberto Ramos, Edgar Delgado, and Iban Coello.
The solicitation reads, “In advance of Marvel’s First Family arriving on the big screen this summer, Ryan North and Humberto Ramos craft an unusual story in which the Fantastic Four respond to a most unusual interdimensional summons! And on the eve of the birth of the All-New, All-Different X-Men, there is one extra mutant in attendance. WHO is it? Only Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing can tell you! Plus, ANOTHER surprise from Chip Zdarsky! We’re simply too good to you!”
Joe Kelly, Deniz Camp, and Cody Ziglar, meanwhile, write Free Comic Book Day 2025: Amazing Spider-Man/Ultimate Universe #1, which features art by John Romita Jr. & Jonas Scharf.

Free Comic Book Day 2025: Ironheart/Marvel’s Voices #1 is written by Justina Ireland (and more) with art by Julian Shaw (and more).

Darth Vader will be featured in Free Comic Book Day 2025: Star Wars #1, which is written by Alex Segura, Charles Soule, and Marc Guggenheim, while the art comes from Phil Noto, Luke Ross, Stefano Raffaele, and Madibek Musabekov.
