How New Team of Avengers Assemble

The new team of Avengers assemble in the wake of the Blood Hunt event, Inspired by the team of experienced and fresh heroes he brought together during the crisis, Steve Rogers forms a second squad that is closer to Earth. Moving into the team’s original mansion base, this team live and train together when they are not in the field saving the world.

Apart from Captain America, the new team will feature Wasp, Hawkeye (Clint Barton), Hercules, She-Hulk, Photon, Night-Thrasher, Lightning, Wonder Man, Shang-Chi, and Lightspeed from Power Pack. The first issue will find Steve, Wasp, Photon, and Shang-Chi joining forces to stop the Red Skull’s daughter from using a dangerous artifact. At the same time, Hawkeye hosts a poker game for the rest of the team.

“This is a great time to assemble!” Steve Orlando shared. “Avengers Assemble is bringing a murderer’s row of classic Avengers back to the Mansion. Classic comics storytelling is coming with it. A team of icons and new recruits alike, but heavy on the icons. And in every issue, a barnburner of an entire story packed into twenty pages.”
