They’ve been villains. They’ve been heroes. They’re all complicated. Alone, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman are formidable threats. Together, as the Gotham City Sirens, they were all but unstoppable. Yet it’s been a while since Harleen, Pamela, and Selena joined forces. That changes this August, as DC Comics brings Batman‘s greatest anti-heroes together for a four-part event.
The plot of Gotham City Sirens centers around an illegal hunting operation that threatens the wildlife and citizens of Gotham City. Harley, Ivy, and Catwoman are each drawn into fighting the operation for their own reasons. However, they quickly join forces when they realize a team of costumed criminals is involved with the big game. This team includes White Rabbit, Punchline, and a new group of cowboy-themed henchmen called the Nasty Boys.
Written by Leah Williams, Gotham City Sirens #1-4 will run weekly throughout the month of August. The art duties will be handled by artists Matteo Lolli, Daniel Hillyard, and Brandt & Stein. The event will also feature multiple variant covers, with the main covers being handled by superstar artist Terry Dodson. There will also be a four-part connecting cover by Guillem March, showcasing the Sirens battling Punchline.

Original Gotham City Sirens Series Gets a Reprint
The Sirens concept was first formulated by writer Paul Dini for the Gotham Girls web animation series in 2000. Teaming with artist Guillem March, Dini later introduced the team into the comics in 2009. This series will see a trade paperback collection, releasing on September 3, 2024, titled Harley Quinn & the Gotham City Sirens. This volume will collect the first 13 issues of the original series. It is unclear, however, if there will be a second volume to collect the rest of the 26 issues.
Gotham City Sirens #1 arrives in comic shops everywhere on August 7, 2024.
