The era of Krakoa is at an end — Marvel Comics has detailed its lineup of X-Men titles for the month of May 2024.
At this time, Marvel has shared the cover art and synopses for the respective fifth and final issues of Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X. Due for release on May 22 and May 29, respectively, Fall of the House of X #5 and Rise of the Powers of X #5 depict the X-Men’s final battle against the anti-mutant organization known as Orchis.
The House of Ideas has also dished on the Fall of the House of X tie-in books releasing in May — including Cable #4, Invincible Iron Man #18, X-Men #34, X-Men: Forever #3, and X-Men: Forever #4. Finally, the publisher has shared the covers and synopses for Wolverine #49 and #50 — which mark the end of the 10-part “Sabretooth War” story arc.

The X-Men get a fresh start this summer
Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X launched last month to kick off the final chapter of the X-Men’s Krakoan Age. This coming May marks the penultimate month of the Krakoa era, with Marvel promising a “grand finale milestone issue” of X-Men in June. The X-Men will then get a line-wide relaunch in July. Marvel will offer a sneak peek at what this new era has in store on Free Comic Book Day in May.
