Originally created as a hostess for an anthology comic, Vampirella has been many things in her long history. Writer Christopher Priest attempted to reconcile her conflicting backgrounds in 2019, just in time for Vampirella’s 50th anniversary. Now, with Vampi’s 55th anniversary fast approaching, Priest is poised to revamp everyone’s favorite space vampire once again.
Dynamite Entertainment has released five pages of Vampirella #666 in anticipation of the reboot. Subtitled “Beyond,” the story opens with Vampi being murdered by a mysterious blonde woman. She then awakens in the recent past, with none of the events of the previous series having occurred yet. Will Vampi be able to avert the mass casualty event that defined the previous Priest run? Or is she doomed to die again and again at the blonde stranger’s hand?

The Art Team of Vampirella #666
Christopher Priest is once again partnering with Ergün Gündüz, who collaborated with him on the previous Vampirella series. There will also be a cosplay cover featuring Rachel Hollon, as well as virgin and foil variants of the basic covers.
Vampirella #666 arrives in comic shops everywhere on February 14, 2024.
