Oni Press to Launch RoboForce, Biker Mice From Mars and More in NacelleVerse #0

Comic book publisher Oni Press has announced NacelleVerse #0, a 48-page one-shot that will introduce readers to The Nacelle Company‘s various beloved properties.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions recently announced that they had boarded Nacelle’s RoboForce: The Animated Series. In light of this news, Oni has revealed that NacelleVerse #0 will launch not only RoboForce — but also Biker Mice From Mars, Sectaurs, Power Lords, The Great Garloo, and more. The comic is due for release in March 2024.

NacelleVerse #0 hails from Melissa Flores (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Diogenes Neves (Realm of X, Suicide Squad), Francis Portela (Green Lantern), and more. The one-shot leads directly into Oni’s RoboForce #1 (of 3) and Biker Mice From Mars #1 (of 3), which launch in April 2024 and July 2024, respectively. Sectaurs and Power Lords are each getting their own three-issue limited series down the road as well.

Furthermore, NacelleVerse #0 ties into the aforementioned RoboForce animated series, as well as the Biker Mice From Mars animated series — the latter of which hails from executive producer Ryan Reynolds. The upcoming comic features covers by the likes of Marco D’Alfonso (Miles Morales: Spider-Man), Logan Lubera (New Fantastic Four), InHyuk Lee (DCeased), Livio Ramondelli (Transformers), and Mike Deodato Jr. (The Flash, New Avengers).

What to expect from the NacelleVerse

An official synopsis for NacelleVerse #0 reads as follows: “When his planet is annihilated by a cosmic disaster, the alien Great Garloo must begin a galaxy-spanning search for a new home … only to discover a bold new universe of champions waiting amongst the stars! From the genetically modified Sectaur warriors of the planet Symbion to the rabble-rousing Biker Mice from Mars, Garloo’s quest for safe haven will hurdle him on a one-way collision course toward 22nd Century Earth … where the obsolete robotic work crew called RoboForce is about to forge a new destiny…”

“We’re introduced to a series of diverse worlds through the adventures of Garloo, our gentle-hearted nomad without a home,” Flores said. “As Garlow travels the NacelleVerse, we encounter wonderfully complicated characters and circumstances, from smugglers to civil wars to robots, just trying to get some respect. And together we discover a true home consists of the people that welcome you within it.”

The comic writer continued, “I can’t believe I get to relive my childhood with these amazing properties! Getting the opportunity to work with the wonderful team at Oni Press and Nacelle and bring these characters to life in comics is an incredible honor. I can’t wait for readers to fall in love with these characters again like I have!”

NacelleVerse #0 goes on sale March 20, 2024 from Oni Press.
