Marvel Comics has revealed the official cover art and synopses for Fall of the House of X #3 and Rise of the Powers of X #3.
Per Marvel, Fall of the House of X #3 by Gerry Duggan and Lucas Werneck hits comic shops on March 13, 2024. Pepe Larraz‘s cover art shows Wolverine seemingly preparing to eliminate Doctor Stasis, one of the leaders of the mutant-hating organization known as Orchis.
The issue’s official synopsis reads as follows: “In FALL OF THE HOUSE OF X #3, the end has truly begun! The X-Men have taken all they’re willing to take from Orchis… Now, it’s time for them to do the dishing out. Unfortunately, just when it seems like one threat is over…another rises to take its place. The final battle of the Krakoan Age rages as two series that are one move toward a crash that will echo across the universe…”

Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X kick off in January
Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X both launch in January 2024 and will run for five issues each. The dual limited series will depict the end of an era as the X-Men’s final battle for Krakoa begins. This format directly mirrors the dual six-issue limited series House of X and Powers of X, which kicked off the Krakoan Age back in 2019.
According to Marvel, Fall of the House of X “sees a classic lineup of X-Men embark on a daring mission to bring down Orchis for good and restore hope to mutantkind.” Meanwhile, Rise of the Powers of X “takes readers on a sense-shattering journey beyond space and time as an ambitious plan is put in action to prevent the darkest of futures from coming to pass.”
Mind you, that’s not the entire story. Marvel is also set to publish a slew of tie-in series — including Resurrection of Magneto, Dead X-Men, Cable, and X-Men: Forever.
Fall of the House of X #3 and Rise of the Powers of X #3 go on sale in March 2024 from Marvel Comics.
