BRZRKR: Fallen Empire #1 — the latest chapter in BOOM! Studios‘ Keanu Reeves-co-created comic book franchise — is heading back for a second printing.
BRZRKR: Fallen Empire #1 hit comic shops this past Wednesday, November 29. BOOM! Studios has now announced that the comic has sold out at the distributor level, and will be heading back to the printers. The second printing is due to go on sale in late December.

BRZRKR: Fallen Empire #1 hails from writer Mattson Tomlin, who is also penning a live-action film adaptation of BRZRKR for Netflix. The comic is illustrated by the aforementioned Rebekah Isaacs, colored by Dee Cunniffe, and lettered by Becca Carey.
An official synopsis for the latest BRZRKR one-shot reads as follows: “The lone survivor of Olos, a long-dead — once thriving — empire, tells a tale of B.’s distant past and the death and cataclysm he brought forth. But what did B. find that could have driven him to such violent ends? The desires of the heart are as much a weapon as any in B.’s arsenal…”

BOOM! Studios’ BRZRKR franchise so far
Created by Reeves and Matt Kindt, BRZRKR ran for 12 issues from March 2021 to March 2023. The original series was written by Reeves and Kindt, penciled by Ron Garney, inked and colored by Bill Crabtree, and lettered by Clem Robins. It centers on B. — an immortal warrior drawn in Reeves’ likeness.
The newly-released Fallen Empire is the second one-shot to spin out of the main series. It follows BRZRKR: Poetry of Madness #1 by Reeves, Steve Skroce, Dave Stewart, and Ed Dukeshire — which debuted this past July.
BRZRKR: Fallen Empire #1 is on sale now from BOOM! Studios. The second printing arrives in comic shops on Wednesday, December 27.
