Diamond Comic Distributors has announced the full lineup of titles heading to shops for Free Comic Book Day 2024.
Earlier this week, Diamond revealed all 12 Gold Sponsor titles that will be available on Free Comic Book Day next May. The company has now revealed all 36 Silver Sponsor titles, bringing the total number of FCBD 2024 books to 48.
In addition to its two Gold Sponsor titles, Marvel has no fewer than three Silver Sponsor titles on deck — highlighting Spidey and his Amazing Friends, Marvel’s Voices, and Star Wars. The House of Ideas is also teaming up with Fantagraphics for a FCBD special paying tribute to its early days as Atlas Comics. Circling back to Star Wars, Dark Horse is itself venturing to the galaxy far, far away with a Young Jedi Adventures special.
Meanwhile, DC has a Young Adult special, a Middle Grade special, and a Mad Magazine special coming out (though the publisher is keeping all its FCBD covers under wraps for now). Other Silver Sponsor books include a Valiant special from Alien Books, a Cursed Library prelude from Archie Comics, an Ultraduck sampler from Arcana Studio, a Doctor Who special from Titan Comics, a Flash Gordon special from Mad Cave Studios, and many more.

What to expect from FCBD 2024
“We’re looking forward to another great year of celebrating comic books and comic book shops!” FCBD spokesperson Ashton Greenwood said earlier this week. “This year’s lineup has a title for everyone. Whether you’re new to comics or a longtime reader, you’re sure to find a title that grabs your attention. And with the event falling on Star Wars Day this year, that adds a little extra excitement to the day!”
Free Comic Book Day 2024 takes place on Saturday, May 4.
