Exclusive Preview: Heroes Reborn #2

The Marvel Universe has changed, and not in a good way! Shades of Age of Apocalypse, someone has twisted history so that the Avengers were never formed. In their place is the Squadron Supreme of America. However, the Squadron aren’t the heroes they appear to be. The demon, Mephisto, has been backing them from the start. And Mephisto is also the number 1 suspect behind this twisted world.

Regardless, there’s one man who knows the truth: Blade, the last vampire. While the Squadron revel in a timeline where they are truly supreme, Blade has already found Captain America frozen in ice. There are also indications that Thor may soon recover his memories. However, Black Panther and Wakanda are MIA, and the rest of the Avengers are decidedly not themselves.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Heroes Reborn #2, Jason Aaron and artists Dale Keown, Carlos Magno, and Ed McGuinness reveal how this world dealt with Galactus’ invasion. It turns out that Hyperion really is “super,” and he’s also less inclined to hold back against extinction-level threats. Unfortunately for Hyperion, a breakout at the Negative Zone prison is only the beginning of his problems.
