Say Hello to Nocturna in New Batwoman Episode 13 Photos

Earth-Prime’s Gotham City is ready for the appearance of its first vampire. In the latest batch of promotional photos from the upcoming Batwoman Episode 13, The CW offers the fans a first look at Kayla Ewell’s Nocturna. Now that the Alice-Beth doppelganger situation is solved, it’s time for the titular heroine to lock horns with a new villain. And Nocturna may turn out to be more than just a simple enemy for Kate Kane. In the New 52 relaunch of DC Comics the alter-ego of Natalia Knight developed feelings for Batwoman.

The set of photos features also a doubtful Sophie, who has to choose between her loyalty to the Crows Security and her friendship with Gotham’s vigilante. Moreover, it seems that Alice and Batwoman may set aside their feelings and work together to stop Gotham’s newest threat.

Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Jerry Shandy. The synopsis of “Drink Me” reads as follows:

“A new villain sinks her teeth into Gotham and The Hold Up opens in grand fashion. Sophie (Meagan Tandy) reluctantly requests that Batwoman (Ruby Rose) keep her distance knowing their interactions could compromise her career. Dougray Scott, Rachel Skarsten, Nicole Kang and Camrus Johnson also star.”

Based on the characters from DC, Batwoman comes from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Caroline Dries, as well as Geoff Johns, and Sarah Schechter. Additionally, David Nutter and Marcos Siega executive produced the pilot.
