The CW has debuted a new promo for the upcoming Supergirl Episode 5.10. Everything has changed for Kara Danvers after she and her fellow superheroes defeated the Anti-Monitor in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Not only has Lex Luthor made his return, but he is also regarded as the good guy. And very few people seem to remember that he threatened the Earth several times in the past.
Supergirl, on her behalf, will try to do everything in her power to stop Lex Luthor’s evil plans once again. But he may not be alone this time, as his half-sister Lena Luthor might join forces with him very soon. The official synopsis of “The Bottle Episode” reads as follows:
“The subsequent complications from the Crisis leave Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to face a chaotic threat.”

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist (Glee) as Kara Danvers/Supergirl. Mehcad Brooks plays James Olsen, with Chyler Leigh (Grey’s Anatomy) as Alex Danvers, as well as Jeremy Jordan as Winslow ‘Winn’ Schott, and Katie McGrath (Merlin) as Lena Luthor. The show also stars Jess Rath as Brainiac 5, and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onnz.
Based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the series boasts executive producers Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, as well as Robert Rovner, and Jessica Queller. Moreover, Berlanti Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television, produces Supergirl.
