Exclusive Preview: New Mutants #3

Things have been a bit weird for the New Mutants lately. Almost half of the original team was dead until House of X rewrote the book on mutant resurrections. To celebrate their hopeful new future, the New Mutants went on a trip to Shi’ar space and managed to get into a lot of trouble. But there’s still a new generation of mutants looking for guidance back home.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for New Mutants #3, Ed Brisson and artist Flaviano bring the action back down to Earth. More specifically, to Krakoa, the newly established mutant homeland. Aside from the assassination of Charles Xavier, things have been going pretty well. So much so that Armor takes it upon herself to bring the mutant holdouts to Krakoa. However, there may be good reasons why some mutants didn’t answer Xavier’s call.

Here’s the official description from Marvel.

“THE FUTURE COMES KNOCKING! While the original New Mutants are off in space, the rest of the youth of Krakoa begin to make the future they want to live in. First up – Armor’s outreach party, seeking young mutants who have chosen not to come to Krakoa.”
