Exclusive Preview: Savage Avengers Annual #1

Conan the Barbarian has been brought the modern day Marvel Universe, but that hasn’t stopped his thirst for adventure. Within the pages of Savage Avengers,  Conan has formed an unlikely team, including Wolverine, Venom, The Punisher, Elektra and Doctor Voodoo. In next week’s annual, Conan is making two more “friends,” or at least two additional allies.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Savage Avengers Annual #1, Gerry Duggan and artist Ron Garney set the stage for the team up. Black Widow and Daimon Hellstrom, the Son of Satan, have been looking into a human trafficking ring. However, Conan’s presence may soon turn the tide in their favor.

Here’s the official description from Marvel.

“A barbarian walks into a brothel and thus begins another adventure in the life of Conan of Cimmeria.

Human traffickers finally meet an immovable human. Black Widow is drawn into the intrigue by following the trail of bodies left by Kulan Gath’s henchman, and a last prayer from one of the trafficked women summons an unexpected angel, the Son Of Satan himself, Daimon Hellstrom. It’s the Marvel team-up you didn’t know you needed until now.“
