The recent Disney/Sony drama over Spider-Man came out of the blue and it definitely escalated quickly. Now, the beloved, friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man is not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe any more. At least as of this moment. But what if talks resume? How will we know exactly when Peter Parker will cross paths again with the rest of the MCU?
To learn the answer to this question, Spidey’s fans have to access a brand new website (found via ComicBook.com) called IsSpiderManBackInTheMCUYet.com. Just by clicking on it, you will find out whether or not Spider-Man is back in the MCU.

The website was probably created as a joke, but it has gone viral in the last hours. The homepage features a screenshot from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, with Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker leaving his Spider-Man costume in a trash can. Long story short: at the moment, the website tells us that Spider-Man is currently not a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But rest assured that should that ever change, they will presumably update as needed.
Meanwhile, the actor currently portraying Peter Parker on the big screen, Tom Holland, has teased a way different third Spider-Man movie from Sony. Whatever happens studio-wise, he appears to still be on board with the web-slinging franchise.
