Last year, Marvel gave Deadpool a “fresh start” with a new series by Skottie Young and artist Nick Klein. However, there’s a new team coming on to the book, and Marvel isn’t skipping a chance to relaunch the series.
Via Marvel’s official YouTube channel, the publisher announced that Kelly Thompson (Mr. and Mrs. X, Rogue & Gambit, Captain Marvel) is teaming up with artist Chris Bachelo (The Sandman, Uncanny X-Men, Generation X) for Deadpool. Thompson quickly confirmed the news on her twitter account.

Here’s the official description from Marvel: “Deadpool’s newest mercenary job has him going after the King of Monsters, who has claimed a new kingdom for his monstrous subjects…on Staten Island! Deadpool #1 will hit comic book stores in November.
