First Look At Batman/Superman #1

A Batman who laughs is a Batman who always wins. Bruce Wayne’s counterpart from the Dark Multiverse, the Batman Who Laughs, has struck at the heart of the real Batman. While Bruce nearly transformed into a new Batman Who Laughs, the original model has dark plans for the DC Universe. This twisted villain is going to infect other heroes with the modified Joker venom that corrupted him. Unfortunately for Batman, he’s already too late to stop his new nemesis.

DC has released a first look preview at Batman/Superman #1, a new series spinning out of The Batman Who Laughs. Joshua Williamson and artist David Marquez bring Batman and Superman into the lair of the Batman Who Laughs. They also come across the first of six infected DC heroes, and he has the power to rival Superman without any moral restraints to hold him back.

Here’s the official description from DC: “The first arc of BATMAN/SUPERMAN will follow the two titular heroes as they hunt down six infected heroes in the DCU—people revealed to be infected by the Batman Who Laughs with a deadly pathogen that violently transforms them into the evilest versions of themselves.

The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel must journey into the depths of Gotham City to learn which of their fellow heroes has been transformed into the horrifying horseman of their most dangerous and deranged foe ever.”
