Exclusive Preview: Marvel Comics Presents #1

2018 marks the 80th anniversary of Marvel Comics. To celebrate that momentous occasion, Marvel is relaunching its signature anthology series, Marvel Comic Presents. Captain America, Namor, and Wolverine are starring in three brand new stories by Ann Nocenti, Greg Pak, and Charles Soule. Tomm Coker and Paulo Siqueira are among the contributing artists, while Art Adams provided a striking cover featuring all three heroes.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview of Marvel Comics Presents #1, Marvel has provided a few pages from all three feature stories. Both Wolverine and Namor have stories set in the aftermath of World War II, which may indicate a connection between their tales. In the Wolverine story, Logan and his allies confront a Nazi plot that involves magic. As for Namor, he’s less than eager to aid the surface world after the destruction of Atlantis. However, Namor is warned that a new Nazi superweapon may doom everyone unless he personally deals with the menace.

Here’s the official description from Marvel: “THE CLASSIC MARVEL SERIES RETURNS FOR MARVEL’S 80th ANNIVERSARY! Three titanic tales celebrating the first decade of Marvel stories!
