Scooper ‘screenscribe’ tells us what David Koepp, writer of the first Spider-Man movie, said about what his sequels would have been like:
I just attended a screenwriting expo in LA and one of the speakers was David Koepp. He let us in on HIS version for the Spider-Man trilogy. He said that he had a plan to introduce Gwen Stacey in part 2 and have Harry become the second green goblin. The GG would then kill Gwen the old Marvel way by throwing her off the top of the bridge. When asked why, since that already happened to MJ in the first movie, David replied that it was planned that way… a complete circle for Spider-Man. Kind of cool to hear…
