Fox 2000 and New Regency are teaming to produce a feature film adaptation of Ted Naifeh’s comic book Courtney Crumrin and the Night Things, reports Variety. Graham Tallman will write the script.
The film follows the story of a young girl who moves into her eccentric uncle’s house, where she’s thrown into a world of warlocks, witchcraft and goblins. Meanwhile, she must solve the mystery of why all her classmates are disappearing.
Stan Winston and Brian J. Gilbert are producing. Film Roman’s Karen Davis is associate producer.
