Variety reports that Jim Caviezel will play the lead role in M, a $35 million adaptation of a best-selling French comic book written and to be directed by Gallic helmer James Huth.
Production is scheduled to start in August in London and Montreal.
M is intended to be the first of a series of films based on the comic books. It is described at an Indiana Jones-meets-Sherlock Holmes type film.
