DC Comics has found tremendous success reaching out to online audiences through licensed web comics and the DC Universe Infinite service. However, the publisher is evolving further, with a new DC Go! line specifically designed for reading on mobile devices. One of these books, Nothing Butt Nightwing, will center on Nightwing putting his posterior on the line in an undercover mission unlike any other.
Written by Patrick R. Young with art by Moy R. Marco, Nothing Butt Nightwing finds Dick Grayson on an unexpected path. He goes undercover as a supermodel and soon captures the eyes of the world, but all Dick has eyes for is the Poison Ivy protégé on the hunt to steal the expensive (and environmentally harmful) jewels worn by his fellow models.
Other DC GO! original series
“DC has the largest library of comics on the planet, going back nearly 90 years,” noted general manager Anne DePies “With the addition of DC Go! to DC Universe Infinite, there’s now a new collection of webcomics for fans to read, Our goal with (this) collection is to create fun, compelling, reader-friendly, mobile stories that readers will enjoy on the go.”
Apart from the new Nightwing series, the DC Go! line will kick off with two more original series. The first is Harley Quinn In Paradise, scripted by CRC Payne with art by Siobhan Chiffon and Cathy Le. The series finds Harley Quinn crashing a reality romance game show as part of a paradoxical plan to lay low.
The third new series is an Isekai fantasy titled Renaissance of Raven. Written by Sina Grace, with art by Nico Bascuñan, Katherine Lobo, and Carola Borelli, the series centers around Raven as she is drawn into another world. Separated from the other Titans, she must make a tough choice. Will she take a chance to go home, or stay to fight the evil witches threatening the kingdom of Galonia?
A preview of the new series can now be read at DC Universe Infinite. The full collection debuts on November 20, 2024.
