Peacemaker Season 2: Tim Meadows Joins Cast, New Director Set

The cast of Peacemaker Season 2 continues to grow, with Tim Meadows joining the cast of the upcoming DC Universe series.

The announcement came from James Gunn on Instagram, where he shared a photograph of himself, Meadows, and Steve Agee, who plays John Economos in the DC Universe series. In the post, Gunn welcomed Meadows to the DCU.

Who will Tim Meadows play in Peacemaker Season 2?

According to Gunn, Meadows will play the role of Langston Fleury, an agent for ARGUS, the government organization directed by Amanda Waller. Alongside the news, Deadline also reported that Greg Mottola (Superbad, Adventureland) will be directing “a few” episodes of the upcoming series.

Peacemaker Season 2 will be set in Gunn and Peter Safran’s forthcoming DCU. The first season of The Suicide Squad spin-off series premiered in 2022 and was set in the now-defunct DCEU. Gunn has confirmed that the upcoming season will address the continuity change.

Along with Grillo, Peacemaker Season 2 stars John Cena as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos.

With the new season being written by Gunn, Peacemaker Season 2 does not yet have a premiere date.

Grillo’s Rick Flag Sr. — the father of Rick Flag, who was played Joel Kinnaman in 2016’s Suicide Squad and 2021’s The Suicide Squad — will first debut in Creature Commandos, which will be the first official DCU project.
