Marvel Comics has shared new details and first-look previews for its Free Comic Book Day 2024 titles.
As previously announced, Marvel has no fewer than five books lined up for FCBD in May. First up is Free Comic Book Day 2024: Blood Hunt/X-Men #1. The one-shot teams writer Jed MacKay with artist Sara Pichelli for a prelude to MacKay’s upcoming Blood Hunt event series. Then, Gail Simone joins forces with David Marquez for the first glimpse at the X-Men’s post-Krakoa era.
Next, in Free Comic Book Day 2024: Spider-Man & The Ultimate Universe #1, writers Zeb Wells and Deniz Camp team with artists Ryan Stegman and Juan Frigeri to preview the next wave of Marvel’s new Ultimate Universe titles and the future of Amazing Spider-Man. The one-shot also offers a sneak peek at Al Ewing‘s next Venom arc. Things continue in Free Comic Book Day 2024: Marvel’s Voices #1, which seeks to spotlight diverse creators and characters from across the Marvel multiverse.
Then, Marvel takes readers to the galaxy far, far away for Free Comic Book Day 2024: Star Wars/Darth Vader #1 — which heralds the next chapter in the publisher’s official Star Wars line of comics. Finally, Free Comic Book Day 2024: Spidey & His Amazing Friends promotes the Disney Junior animated series, which returns for Season 3 this coming Monday.
