First Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars Figure Revealed

Big surprise: the first action figure for Disney+‘s Obi-Wan Kenobi show is…Obi-Wan Kenobi! He may not have a new hat, but he does wear new, dark pants, versus the all-white Jedi leggings. Hasbro and Lucasfilm dub this variant of the veteran Force-wielder “Wandering Jedi,” so those pants should get a workout. Ewan McGregor debuted the figure on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as this year’s Star Wars Day drew to a close. The Kenobi Star Wars figure should go up for preorder at all the usual retailers in one week, on May 11.

Unfortunately, the usual COVID-era toy delays apply, and these figures likely won’t ship until next year. Even Obi-Wan can’t stop trade blockades all by himself, as the prequels proved. But for now, everyone gets to see what he will look like. Costing $24.99, the new 6-inch Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars figure includes butterfly shoulder joints, photoreal face printing, and a removable Jedi robe. (Here’s hoping the hood hangs down better than on Boba Fett.)

Now, the question becomes…where does he wander to? Obviously he won’t just hang out watching Luke Skywalker from afar. We’ll have to see when Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on Disney+ starting May 27. In the meantime, check out the action figure in our gallery below.
