Hot Toys Announces Black Widow Movie Figures Taskmaster and Natasha

As Black Widow finally heads to theaters and Disney+ next month, toy companies that have sat on the license for a year will swing into action. Hot Toys now has two on the way, with its renditions of Taskmaster and Natasha. And in the product descriptions, we learn a few things. First, that Natasha’s white costume is specifically a snowsuit. (Although one might think it should include a hood, if that’s the case.) And second, that Taskmaster’s combat skills specifically copy Black Panther, Hawkeye, Captain America, and Black Widow. Hence the bow, shield, claws, and a sword subbing for Nat’s batons.

Taskmaster’s description also uses exclusively male pronouns, though that could just be deception and subterfuge. It’s also said to include “the newly designed helmet and armor pieces, finely tailored high-tech outfit in signature navy and orange color scheme, an array of detailed weapons including bow and arrows, circular shield, sword, and a themed figure stand.”

Black Widow, meanwhile, “features a newly developed head and hair sculpture with delicate workmanship, finely tailored white tactical uniform, highly-detailed weapons including a pair of standard batons and a pair of articulated batons with 3 types of interchangeable tips enable different battling styles, pistols, multiple pieces of interchangeable hands for signature poses, and a movie-themed figure stand.”

Both figures cost $250, with payment plans available, for delivery second quarter (Taskmaster) and third-quarter (Natasha) of 2022. Anyone on the fence can check out our gallery below for more detailed images of both.
