The CW has debuted a brand new promo for the upcoming seventh episode of Batwoman. While the show is taking a week off from its schedule, it will make its return in style with “It’s Best You Stop Digging.” In the short video, Ryan finds out that Alice is responsible for her adoptive mother’s death. Cora died following the injuries sustained during an attack from the Wonderland gang. Now, Ryan wants to deal with Alice once and for all, questioning the “no killing” Bat-code. It will take the efforts of all the team to prevent her from doing the unthinkable. So far, Ryan has been a loose cannon after taking up Kate Kane’s cape and cowl and becoming Gotham’s new Scarlet Knight. Fans will have to wait for a couple of weeks before discovering how she handles the situation.

Avi Youabian directed the episode written by Jerry Shandy. The official synopsis for “It’s Best You Stop Digging” reads:
“CROSSING THE LINE – As Ryan’s (Javicia Leslie) condition worsens, she questions Batwoman’s “no killing” code when she realizes the opportunity to avenge her mother is slipping away. Tatiana (guest star Leah Gibson) fills in the gaps for Alice (Rachel Skarsten) about her time on Coryana and her history with Ocean (guest star Nathan Owens). Also starring Dougray Scott, Meagan Tandy, Nicole Kang and Camrus Johnson.”
The next episode of Batwoman Season 2 will debut on The CW on March 14.
