Exclusive Preview: Spider-Man #4

Last year, J.J. Abrams and his son, Henry, made their comic book debut with Marvel’s Spider-Man limited series. This alternate world timeline introduced readers to Ben Parker, the son of Peter Parker and Mary Jane. Within the opening pages of the series, a new villain called Cadaverous killed Mary Jane and cost Peter his arm. Years later, their son, Ben, discovered that he has powers of his own. Unfortunately for Ben, he picked the wrong time to become the new Spider-Man. Cadaverous is back, and he’s already captured Peter.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Spider-Man #4, J.J. and Henry Abrams join forces with artist Sara Pichelli as Ben Parker and his entourage come face-to-face with the Cyber Zombie Avengers! Cadaverous has turned Hulk, Thor, and even Black Widow into undead engines of destruction. That’s bad news for Tony Stark and Riri Williams, who take the brunt of the attack. However, it’s still going to come down to the young Spider-Man, and his semi-girlfriend, Faye. And right now, they don’t have any idea what to do.

Here’s the official description from Marvel.

“Peter Parker is in the hands of Cadaverous and only his son Ben can save him. You may think you know where this story is going, but there are so many surprises coming!”
