Netflix’s Stranger Things Characters Join Dead by Daylight

Things are going to be turned upside-down in Dead by Daylight starting September. A few characters from Stranger Things have joined the giant roster of the one-versus-four survival horror video game. Thanks to a new agreement with Netflix, the lovely Nancy Wheeler and unpredictable Steve Harrington are now two of the Survivors in the game. Also, the roster of the Killers will see a new entry in the ever-terrifying Demogorgon.

“The Chapter introduces a new Killer and two new Survivors to the realm of The Entity: the monstrous, otherworldly Demogorgon is the new untamable Killer,” reads the official description. “Against it stands not one, but two, new Survivors: Nancy Wheeler, a tough aspiring journalist, and Steve Harrington, a former high school jock with a knack for finding trouble.”

Nancy and Steve only joined forces in the show’s first season, but it is intriguing to see their new adventure. You can watch the video announcing the collaboration in the player below.

Additionally, the video game will add a new map, and it is obviously from an iconic location in Hawkins.

“The Stranger Things Chapter comes with a new map, the Underground Complex. Located below the Hawkins National Laboratory, this grim compound caused an inter-dimensional rift that released dozens of creatures before being sealed off.”

Dead by Daylight is no stranger to this kind of mash-ups. The game features also a bunch of characters from famous horror franchises such as HalloweenSaw, and Evil Dead.

The Stranger Things Chapter will be available on PC and consoles in September. What do you think about the mash-up between Stranger Things and Dead by Daylight? Will you play as Nancy or Steve? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
