Exclusive Preview: Justice League #18

The multiverse is dying, and it’s the Justice League‘s fault! That may be an oversimplification of recent events, but it’s true. Lex Luthor and the Legion of Doom revived Brainiac, and together, they sabotaged the League’s plan to repair reality. Unfortunately for Luthor, Martian Manhunter has revealed their shared history, and it might be enough to derail his ambitions for ultimate power.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Justice League #18, James Tynion IV and artist Pasqual Ferry put the spotlight on the Legion of Doom. It turns out that resurrecting Brainiac was a bad idea. Especially for Luthor, since he basically invited Brainiac into his mind for the next phase of their plan. Now, Luthor has to find a way to hold on to control of his own body or else Brainiac will use him as a puppet and destroy the Legion from within. The stakes are creation itself, as well as Luthor’s role in the cataclysm to come.
