DC Universe’s Stargirl has added another villain to its cast of characters. According to Deadline, Meg DeLacy has been enlisted to play Cindy Burman, a.k.a. Shiv. Additionally, Jake Austin Walker has joined the series in an undisclosed role.

In the comics, Cindy Burman is the daughter of Dragon King, a member of the Injustice Society. She eventually follows in her father’s villainous footsteps by adopting her own costumed persona as Shiv. Her suit features several bladed weapons and she is also a skilled martial artist and gymnast. While living in Blue Valley, Shiv and her father battled Stargirl and her stepfather, S.T.R.I.P.E. Deadline indicates that the series will depict Cindy as “Blue Valley High’s most popular student…and its most feared.”
Nelson Lee is starring as Dragon King on Stargirl. Lee’s Dragon King will share the screen with fellow Injustice Society members Sportsmaster (Neil Hopkins) and Tigress (Joy Osmanski). Brec Bassinger is headlining the series as the title character, with Luke Wilson as her stepfather, Pat Dugan.
