Jason Aaron’s newly relaunched Avengers series has Earth’s Mightiest Heroes moving on up! Starting in Avengers #8, the team will be making their new headquarters in the body of a dead Celestial! It’s going to be murder on Jarvis if he has to come back and keep everything clean! Plus, that’s got to be one Hell of a commute, no matter where you live! These new living arrangements are more of a statement than anything else. If this team is powerful enough to take out Celestials, who’s going to challenge them? Loki chould have even planed it this way. He may have been behind the latest threat to the Earth, but Loki actually seemed happy that the Avengers reformed.
Ghost Rider, a.k.a. Robbie Reyes, played a major role in the Avengers’ victory over the final host of the Dark Celestials. Robbie was even able to use a Celestial body as a weapon that helped save the Earth. Thanks to that remarkable accomplishment, Robbie has been invited to join the latest iteration of the Avengers. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, and Black Panther make up the rest of the team. Doctor Strange was around for the first arc, but he may not be sticking around.

In our exclusive preview of Avengers #8, Aaron and guest artist David Marquez bring Robbie inside the newly rechristened Avengers Mountain. Steve Rogers has a few tests in mind of the new Ghost Rider. Cap wants to make sure that Robbie’s heroics weren’t just a fluke, so it’s time to be challenged. Meanwhile, Thor is looking for the restroom. Who built these Celestial bodies without latrines?
Here’s the official description from Marvel: “WORLD TOUR begins! In the aftermath of their world-shaking battle against the Dark Celestials, the new Avengers team is officially formed, complete with a startling new headquarters at the top of the world. Behold the wonders of Avengers Mountain. But someone who doesn’t seem impressed is Namor, the ferocious lord of Atlantis, whose rage may turn the oceans red with blood!”
