They ****ed it up. Deadpool get's Cyclops' lazer eyes. He has swords popping out from his arms. And Wolvie and Sabertooth team up "Back to back" at the end to defeat him and he get's decapitated. Horrid piece of crap movie.

The film was not good. The movie should of really been about the Wolverine and touch on his origins. His transformation to Weapon X should have been more dramatic. In this cut there was nothing behind it. The characters were all one dimensional. They stuck way to many unnecessary characters in the film to begin with. To top that off the ending was a rehash of a story done a million times before on TV, in Comics, and Film. I doubt the reshoots that were done are going to save the picture. Hugh Jackman was great in the film. He was really the only shining grace behind a lackluster film.

Hey, I'm not the ******* the totally assraped the movie franchise. Get pissed off at Fox. Oh and BTW Gambit has no Cajun accent in the movie.

Posted by: Shayera on April 9, 2009 at 12:50:32

Jman,
Beak is not in the movie. That info proved to be false. Dominic Monaghan plays "Bolt", who actually does have a role in Weapon X, albeit, a later incarnation.

What was terrible about the movie, wasn't even it's disregard for the source material, but the poor quality of it all. You can defend it until you're blue in the face that it's because the movie isn't finished, but that doesn't take away from what we actually see... it adds onto it.

None of the characters' portrayals are even interesting. Do non-fans really are about Gambit or even Sabretooth? I'm no fangirl, and I don't give a damn about Logan and Creed's relationship. BTW, what relationship?

If you really must see it, for your sake, go in with ZERO expecations. You'll probably enjoy it better.

And guys, if you really hate this movie, I can definately understand, as can the majority... but don't start spamming people like Vance Astro for liking it. Otherwise, you just open yourself up to be ignorant of other peoples' opinions.

Vance, I hope you'll elaborate some more on what you liked about the movie.

I'm going to have to disagree with the people who said this movie is crap. I gave in and saw it online, but it met my expectations and more. Even without the visual effects and music I thought it was very enjoyable. And for all the whiners and crybabies out there who complain because of the minor changes to Wolverine's origin and the extra mutants in the movie, get over it! It's still a fun watch, and I'll definitely being seeing it in theaters.

Posted by: Dave on April 9, 2009 at 12:55:46

I think some people are so intent on finding ANY excuse to hate on Fox that they'll say that EVERYTHING produced by Fox is crap. To you people I say "get a life."

Posted by: Spidy on April 9, 2009 at 13:00:34

Those clips were pretty Kick Ass. I dont see why this could be a bad movie.

Hugh Jackman looks like some sort of rockstar on the helicopter. Ha ha. The Zip line was kinda funny looking. I don't think that was rehearsed.

Posted by: Larry Talbot on April 9, 2009 at 13:01:14

I can't get over it. How in the **** did they mess this movie up so damn bad? Well rather how in the **** did they mess up Deadpool so bad and then kill him off? No, this movie was ****, it makes X3 look like a Shakespearean epic and S3 look like Gone With The Wind.

as always: THEY RUINED A GREAT CHARACTER!!!!
THANKS FOX!!!!

Posted by: Marcuswolf on April 9, 2009 at 13:08:47

Cant believe how many people hate this movie because od Deadpool?, its not even his movie, and its quite clear he isnt dead as hes had his head off before, or do these "so called" hardcore fans not know that, he was always going to become a failed experiment.

Posted by: Shayera on April 9, 2009 at 13:14:46

Marcuswolf,
Did you like Spider-man 3 even though they ruined Venom? Heh, how could anyone hate that movie because of Venom? It's not even his movie, right?

What I don't understand is why they didn't name this movie "Weapon X", being that it is the focus of the movie.

Posted by: Revelation on April 9, 2009 at 13:33:35

Vance Astro

Will you get off Fox's n@#s and realize that movie blew big chuncks? It was horrible to the 3rd power. Again, not the special effects. The movie (ie; directing, acting and writing) itself.

Posted by: OMG on April 9, 2009 at 13:44:12

can't we all just get along?

Posted by: Edgar on April 9, 2009 at 13:49:12

Ok for the people who hated it, including myself, have already stated why we didn't like it but I don't see reasons from the people who loved it as to why? What was good about it? Can someone tell me?... Anyone?... All they trash talk is that we didn't like it cause we nit pick on small details, so tell us why you DID like it. What was so AWESOME about it? All the real X fans lets give these HOLLYWOOD fans a chance to give us examples of what made this movie so "kick ass" in their eyes. Example please...

Posted by: mcooper on April 9, 2009 at 13:58:19

stop watching leaked film copies, i'm sorry you all hated the movie, but its so dumb that you guys are watching the leaked versions of this. You may not be the one who directly leaked the movie, but i don't think its right that you are indirectly slapping the people who worked on this in the face.

Posted by: TPJR on April 9, 2009 at 14:05:55

There's alot of hate for it for some reason, but I thought it was very enjoyable... It had good action, humor, the obligatory love-story, everything you pretty much need.

My main concern was for Deadpool though. And I realize it's Wolverine's movie, not his. I'm a big fan of the character and to me it's like: if you're going to incorporate him into the film, do him right, or don't at all. If they just changed the name to something else, where they took the character was fine within the movie. But the fact that it's Wade Wilson is essentially comic-blasphemy.

Still, I liked the movie overall, and I will see it in theatres, and I will buy the DVD.

anyone reading this post is going to pick it apart because we know what's up.

Now for all the millions of other movie watchers that just know the x-films, they will love it and that's how the movie makes it's money. If we just watched it then there would be no money in it.

If you want an accurate wolverine movie hire frank Miller to do it or make it yourself. It's not going to happen in hollywood.

Posted by: Sexylegsjohnson on April 9, 2009 at 15:31:14

If you want an accurate movie get Frank Miller?? Are you crazy 5P1D3R??

Have you seen The Spirit?? He made a balls of it!!

They should have got Robert Zermeckis or Len Wiseman to direct this film.

I haven't seen the film yet, I'm going to wait and pay my money. But I must admit, from what I have seen in the trailers it seams a bit hit and miss.

What annoys me is all the hard work is done for them. The story for Wolverine is written already. All they had to do is adapt a screenplay to include the Origin, Weapon X and Team X stories and done!

They should have given it to me! I'll rescue the franchise!

"Gambit has no Cajun accent in the movie. "

@ Larry

Yea I was kinda disappointed about that myself

Posted by: Shayera on April 9, 2009 at 15:53:54

I'll agree that Wraith was the coolest part about the entire movie. Will.i.am totally rocked the part.

I think that Wade being fast enough to deflect at least 10 bullets at once is a huge stretch of the imagination, even for an X-Men film. In that scene, it's as if they tried to pull their own version of "Wanted". It's followed up with "Okay! People are dead!" and that was kinda funny, but what I really don't understand is WHY everyone is so annoyed with him. Perhaps he has some more jokes and quips that we just haven't seen in the workprint yet.

One of my biggest gripes with Sabretooth is that he DIDN'T kill Silver Fox. Didn't even hurt her. Yeah, she comes back to life in the comics because she has some artificial healing factor.... but that death scene should have been mandatory. The character herself is pretty obscure, and what most people know (if anything) about her, is that Sabretooth kills her... but they couldn't even get that right.

AND.... Logan can hear a conversation between Agent Zero and Stryker from underwater, 20 ft away.... but he can't register a pulse or even the faintest of heartbeats from Silver Fox? Anyone else have a problem with that?

Guys, don't ask where you can find the Workprint. Especially here....
