I'm afraid that with so many cameos in this flick we're not going to get much story and character focus on Wolverine, which is the whole point, right? Unless the point is to redeem that POS they called "X-Men: The Last Stand"

LOL Yes, it is a promo for a promo.
FOX officially is having a nervous breakdown.
I don't think anyone is going to plan their nights to see three 60-second tv spots, but then that is why we watch the Superbowl, isn't it?
I kind of want to know who is kicking Wolverine in the face. People assume it's Deadpool, but I'm not sold on that.
@dontfearmereaper
X-Men: The Last Stand was not a POS. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I've been an X-Men fan since I popped out of the womb. I just knew to go into the theatre without looking for it to be 100% true to the material. It is a fun movie regardless.

@dontfearmereaper
damn right!!!!
..and if that was cyclops...he must know wolverine before they met in xmen1..and thats dumb...i think^^
if there are more cameos like that ,xmen 1 will be a very wrong "sequel"(little sabretooth in origins..large sabretoth in xmen 1..thats the so grr dumb...i like liev and he may be a god sabretooth..but if u look at tyler mane..they look totaly difrent..)
want more pics from gambit!!!!

Hahaha Cyclops in Wolverine: Origins. Who next? More like Wolverine: Mutant Party!
Posted by: Fanboiii on February 13, 2009 at 10:46:18
X-Men: The Last Stand was a complete POS. Not because of how it differed from comics, but because of the sloppy direction, the multiple choppy plots, the overtly fake action shots, and the overwhelming misuse of characters. It's a bad movie and a piss poor superhero movie. If fans want superhero movies to be taken seriously and have higher quality, why give crappy movies some slack?

More like X-Men Cameos: Wolverine
Amirite???

This film isn't going to be good. Reshoots are a positive sign that something isn't right. And Jackman's statement on the reshoots is an obvious spin, so it confirms that this movie won't be good.

Ok it looks like deadpool will be scared! Look at the one scene with the dude doing the spin with the swords at wolverine, play it in slow mo and his body is totally scared up. It has to be deadpool

@Fanboiii
Because I left the theatre after the post-credits scene feeling like I got my money's worth. It's true, I did not see the movie four times in the theatre like I did with X2, but it did beat my expectations (which were minimal).
"Piss poor".... how do you define that term of phrase? I've seen it thrown around by a lot of people on SHH, but it's used so liberally, I don't think anyone really thinks about it.

Good teaser! It's interesting that they are including so many different mutants, and for those of us who understand the source material, we should be ready for a modern re-telling of some of our favorite characters. We shouldn't complain that it's not exactly like the comics, or we'll be stuck with Wolverine fighting Wendigo (nobody wants to see that, right?) Let us all trust the powers that be, and pray for a better story arc than what was plopped out for us in X-Men 3. 'nuff said.

@Fanboii
AMEN!
..damn !
think if Singer had made the 3rd movie i think it would be much better...he had a good feeling for the xmen franchise...BUT..no!!he directed the super crapy superman returns...with "cyclops"as lois boy^^
that the reason why cyclops had to die^^..he dont loved jean anymore ..he wanted lois lane^^

@ bula von c
Agreed. Had Singer finished the trilogy, it would have closed on good note. Superman Returns wasn't that bad in my opinion, because I understand what he was going for. It just maybe should have a waited a movie or two for the whole love story thing.
GO WOLVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy crap! Cyclops is in it?! I'm getting more and more excited for this movie!
Posted by: THE FIREFLY2 on February 13, 2009 at 11:28:10
Yeah it was cyclops...looked like he was flying. Yeah all the cameo's make sense. Its the only way any other characters are going to get any good screen time. Because the other wolverine movies they made, and yes i am talking about xmen1-3, had piss poor character development of the other characters. Night Crawler was the only other cool X-man in X2, and then they didnt even have him in the 3rd one.
Posted by: Mike on February 13, 2009 at 11:30:02
It makes perfect sense for Cyclops to have a cameo. Remember that in X-Men 1, Wolverine has lost his memory of the Weapon X program. So he wouldn't remember Cyclops anyway. And if this is a brief look at the origin of Scott Summers' powers, it's unlikely he's gonna be seeing much either. So it's logical that in X-Men 1, they wouldn't have recognized or remember the other, even if they did meet briefly in Origins.
Posted by: bman on February 13, 2009 at 11:32:44
Cyclops, great. Lets just kick a dead horse even more. Do we really need him in the movie just to remind us on how poorly treated he was in the Wolverine Trilogy?
Well I'm sure the hardcore fans who are the ones that say "be happy you just get to see these comic characters on the big screen" are going to be lined up for Wolverine and his Amazing Friends. Sell outs. I'll wait for the DVD on this one.
