X-Men Origins: Wolverine Promo Photo!

Hugh Jackman has sent Ain't It Cool News a note about the additional filming taking place in Vancouver right now for X-Men Origins: Wolverine along with this new promo photo featuring (from left to right) Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), Remy LeBeau/Gambit (Taylor Kitsch), Logan/Wolverine (Jackman), Victor Creed/Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber) and Silver Fox (Lynn Collins). The Gavin Hood-directed prequel opens in theaters on May 1st.

So far everything looks cool except for Deadpool. Reynold's is a great cast but they're getting it all wrong. As far I recall, we've never seen Deadpool's face in the comics. He does not look like a ninja assassin. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

So they are weapon X? ok...deapool is a cyborg right? I think the reason why they dont have the traditional deadpool mask is because Ryan Reanolds is a high profile actor and they need to show his face so they can attract certain age demographics to the theatre. Maybe He'll have the deapool suit in the film?

Cool pic.
I'm psyched about this flick. I wasn't at first, but I can honestly say that I'm full-on geeking the closer it gets to release. (The trailer did it for me.) I know that it isn't as faithful to the comics as I'd like, but still looks pretty damn good so far! (Still not sure of what to make of Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth, but I've got to admit that Ryan Reynolds is perfect as Deadpool. I'm with everyone else that says he better don the threads, though.

But really, this should just be called 'Wolverine and the Mutants Jamboree' and it would be just as good.

deadpool is not a cyborg. He starts as a highly trained killer with a pretty face. he is a mutant who gets worst thanks to weapon x. and gets worst. due to skin disease he cannot cure on his own.

Liev Schreiber is an excellent actor, he takes his work very seriously and really gets into his characters. He'll do the best work with what he's got (dependent upon script). Why they don't look picture-perfect to the comic book, the movie still looks like it will be good.

Firstly, you DO see Deadpool's face in the books. Hell, there was an action figure over a decade ago with a take-off mask...
I think it's really, really bad-ass of Hugh to be doing this at all... X3 was a piece of **** for anyone who ever gave a damn about these books growing up. I was raised on Wolverine & most other Marvel books... a lot of what I'm reading, hearing, and saw at Comic-Con has done nothing but boost my excitement for this...

ultimate deadpool is a cyborg for everyone that is saying hes not...which means there is a very good chance he is a cyborg cuz marvels certainly doesnt mind usin ultimate char.
spiderman, venom, and hulk are prime examples.

i think they really arent capturing Wolverine's mythos and character. Jackman is an excellent actor but the character hasnt yet been captured....he was kinda there in the the first xmen movie.....
they need to push his vulgarity, dark and violent character more.
And i get a feeling this movie wont be up to par with fans.

They're all looking down in shame for the fact that NONE OF THEM RESEMBLE THE CHARACTERS THEY ARE MEANT TO BE PLAYING. this film will suck ass, and I can't wait for twenty years time when Fox finally lose the rights to X-men and someone makes a worthwhile X-Film

This looks like the cast for a bad 90's made-for-TV-movie.
C'mon people, Iron Man and Dark Knight and a good chunk of movies down the list have given us costumes and great casting galore. Don't pretend to be excited for "X-men Lite".
(By the way, why oh why do characters always have to be trench-coated up in bad movies? Sabertooth? Guy in black trench coat. Blackheart? Guy in black trench coat. Bullseye? Guy in black trenchcoat. Lame.)

Deadpool is looking at his muscles. Gambit is looking at Wolverines claws. Silver Fox is looking at her tight ass. Sabertooth is looking at Wolverines ass and Wolverine is looking in the mirror.
