I'm interested to see how they make this its own story, since in the comic it just mirrored the watchmen universe. It didn't really have much outside that, so it should be interesting.

This looks amazing. "Tales of the Black Freighter" is going to be epic and it looks pretty damn faithful to the story in Watchmen.

"Executively Produced by the Visionary Director of 300"? Isn't that kind of like saying my plumbing was installed by my realtor? Silly.
Anyway, actually looking forward to Watchmen now. It looked bad early on, but the R rating has me curious...

TheUltimateJoker.com is stupid. Heath Ledgers fans who dont wont see the role that made him a legened be taking. 2500 people have signed, plenty more Joker fans than that, who want too see Joker back.

Animation looks really good. Interesting story. Honestly, they could do a whole bunch of movies like this using the various characters from the film. It's actually a genius concept; the sequals could be limitless since the source material never went further than the graphic novel. Think about it: With Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, etc... they have years of source material to account for and millions of fans who whine and complain when one freakin' thing is out of place, but with WATCHMEN, they can virtually go in any direction with these characters. Pretty cool. Brilliant way to rake in the dough-ray-me.

Looks cool. It's a pretty short story though. Unless they stretched it out I don't think it will be a very long movie, maybe half an hour.

"Exhausted, I slept atop the grave, dreams ringing with the horribly familiar screams of children. I saw the Black Freighter bearing down on all I loved . . ."

Hey, mindless watchman returds LISSENUP
Theres an outstanding cinematic achievement coming at may its called WOLVERINE alright. It reeks of depth and complexity it is a 90 minuite masterpiece.
All Watchmen is MINDLESS action. Style over substance, simple good vs bad stoey NOTHING MORE.
WOlverine has actual depth it ****yzes the Human condition but you watchan drones wont comprehend any of that will you?
Wolverine is filled with ambuigity and ethical questions something watchmen will NEVER HAVE.
MARVEL PREVAILS.
