Warner Bros. Pictures has released the 10th Watchmen Video Journal online in QuickTime format at Apple.com!

Opening March 6th in conventional theaters and IMAX, the Zack Snyder-directed adaptation stars Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Carla Gugino, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Patrick Wilson.

Watchmen is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the Watchmen?

Please let this movie come out in time! I'm as stoked for this as I was for the Dark Knight.

For all those intent on blaming Fox for this mess...FYI, it's just as much WB's fault for not making sure that they actually owned the rights to the movie before filming it. So all of you quit pointing fingers at Fox!

People are finger pointing at Fox because they're trying to delay the films release.

*And the fact that they're pulling this crap, mainly because they don't have faith in their other (ahem) property to make enough money.*

Dave- you're a schmuch! WB owned almost all the rights for it, and if FOX cared that much, maybe they should have made a stink about before the movie was finished being filmed. They didn't seem to care about it in pre-production, or during production. Actually, they really didn't seem to care until they saw how good it's gonna be, once they saw those dollar signs everything changed. That's FOX's fault, they should be paying attention to what they own and what people are doing with it, and pose their case before the project is complete. Lame.

They must have had to make HOODED JUSTICE'S costume purple in order for it to show up well in black and white photography.

Is it just me or does he look like Ronald McDonald's pal GRIMACE?!?!?!?

Actually, you people who say that Fox waited till the last minute to bring it up are dead wrong. If you'd actually read the details of the case, you'd know that Fox was trying to contact WB concerning the rights as early as spring 2008...WB just chose to ignore their attempts to communicate, which is exactly why the judge ruled in Fox's favor.
