Empire magazine has published an official photo of Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl/Mindy Macready in director Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass, based on Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s comic book.

The story centers on a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. Things change when he eventually runs into real bad guys with real weapons.

Aaron Johnson plays title character, while Lyndsy Fonseca plays the object of the teen's infatuation who believes Dave is gay. Cage is a former cop who wants to bring down a druglord and has trained his daughter (Moretz) to be a lethal weapon.

Ironic that on so many movie posters the star, who's playing someone who supposed to know about guns, is almost always posing with their finger on the trigger, yet this kid is one of the few who actually appears to know tha you keep your finger off the trigger until you've aquired your target.

I've never heard of Kick-Ass, but this small authenticity and the fact that John Romita Jr. is one of the creators makes me feel optimistic.

this is gonna be wanted all over again Millar just takes the money and lets them do what ever they want with his properties... and the funny thing is he stays involved and doesn't say anything about it. I was excited about this cause i wanted it to be as ridiculous as the comic, but it's clearly going to be on the same level as wanted I can feel it already.

Am I the only one who is a pissed someone let Nic Cage in on this movie? Honestly he used to be bearable but he just keeps taking all these handouts for ****ty films. Although, if all they needs is someone who can do a bunch of running while making an intense face it wont be a bad choice. What scares me is that they will make this film as terrible as Wanted. Millar allowed that movie to suck by not making sure they followed the source. Dont do it again Mark.
