April 11, 2009
Universal Pictures has launched the official website for director Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, starring Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Aubrey Plaza, Kieran Culkin, Brie Larson, Mae Whitman, Ellen Wong, Anna Kendrick, Mark Webber, Alison Pill and Satya Bhabha.
The site features the first Video Blog from Wright about the pre-production for the film, which is based on the Bryan Lee O'Malley graphic novel. In the movie, Ramona V. Flowers (Winstead) is the dream woman of a young slacker, Scott Pilgrim (Cera). But the only way he can win her heart is by battling and defeating her seven evil ex-boyfriends.
Check out the site here! Many previous Blog posts from Wright about the movie can be found on his site as well.

No set beard? What kind of movie does he expect to make without any whiskers?

Is this related to the Ant-Man project we were promised from Wright?

^^ Nope. it's for Bryan lee O'Malley's Trade Series Scott Pilgrim. Nothing to do with Ant-Man.

Edgar Wright, what a public schoolboy wanker. Grow a pair you pansy!

I'm really glad that Edgar Wright is doing this film instead of the Ant man film for Marvel. That character would have never worked in a staring film. Ant man works best as an assemble character.

Methos,
Its ENSEMBLE character, you moron.
And this movie sounds stupid. Never heard of the book, but the concept is super retarded. They're EX boyfriends. He shouldn't have to battle any of them. Ant Man would have been a waist of ticket price as well. Not every comic/graphic novel should be a damn movie. I hate Hollywood. And all of you...

Actually, last I heard is that they're starting Ant-Man once Wright is finished with this film.
You guys shouldn't knock the film(Ant-Man) before we even know anything about it. It could end up being a pleasant surprise.
As for this film, I love Wright's work, so hopefully this one will be good too.

I like the sounds of this movie. Man, I think I got a woody for it!!!
But the question is can this movie handle an over achieving actor like Wooody Harrelson to join the cast. lets hope so!!!!
