Wow, should be pretty good.

Being a Holmes fan I'm definitely interested. We'll see how it goes when it gets closer.

I wonder if I'm still second....

I hope its good

I don't think Downey will replace Jeremy Brett as the best Holmes ever, but I'm willing to see his take on it. Most people thought Downey was wrong for the Tony Stark/Iron Man role, but his performance is what made the film a hit.

I don't know. This looks more like a comedy than an action film. One of my favorite Holmes films is Murder By Decree. I`m Hoping for the best.

Sherlock Holmes is back on the case in 2009!

Posted by: Confused on October 30, 2008 at 13:38:24

I guess this is a suoerhero movie because Tony Stark plays Holmes???

Jude Law?
Robert Downey Jr.?
Sounds great... everybody just protect your drugs, alcohol, and hot baby-sitters and things will be fine.

I dont know where you got your Sherlock Holmes knowledge but at first glance this looks nothing like Sherlock Holmes whatsoever. Will it be like the masterpiece Van Helsing ? ( shivers )

Posted by: Mark7 on October 30, 2008 at 15:10:19

Looks like Chaplin without the mustache.

What is the deal with the tuning fork? And Kel...not cool man, not cool at all!

Posted by: Jusme6 on October 30, 2008 at 16:33:24

dude, what's the deal with the updates about this movie? I keep checking SHH to see who they're gonna cast for Thor, Captain America, when the Green Lantern's coming out. Maybe news on transformers, but seriously, what is this? Sherlock Holmes? It'll be like Van Helsing or the brother's grim. It'll be one of those movies that you only watch when you're snowed in and you're going through your DVD's and say "Sherlock Holmes? Oh yeah, I got this at the Christmas gift exchange at work like 5 years ago. Hmmm, might as well remove the plastic rap and watch the movie."

RDJ uses his magick divining rod to find the bad guys. Go Sherlock, Go!

@ Jusme6

It's based off of the Sherlock Holmes comics. Yes, comics about characters that aren't Spider-Man or Batman. Ventor away from the main stream every now and then brother, you'd be amazed what you find.

Looks Sweet. Need more diferent movies like this in theatres. They need to remake 20,000 leagues under the sea. Just like they're remaking moby ****

20,000 leagues is real in aspect of the creature. The collosal squid can reach lengths of over 80 feet. Big Squid
