After initially thinking this would be another poor superhero comedy along the lines of Sky High or Zoom, I'm not looking forward to this film. The idea of a super-powered individual trying to become a hero is interesting. It reminds me of some of the more interesting Superman stories- its not his physical abilities that matter, its the psychology behind his actions.

Sorry- I meant to put "now looking forward to this film", I accidently put "not"

Wow, trip maverick how immature can you get..."hanCOCK" grow up I'm so sick of people making jokes about the name

This is looking better and better with each trailer/tv spot. A bit of a different angle on the superhero genre and with Will Smith's acting chops, it should be good. Bring on Hancock!!

I definitely looking forward to this, except for one thing; the initial teasers for Hancock more or less tried to shape it up as a comedy with a lot of action. The more recent trailers and such have been showing the opposite, more action with a few small bits of comedy : /
Personally, I'd prefer the former. I really would rather not like to have this end up turning into a completely dramatic movie in the end.
Either way though, it still looks great :)

another movie from Mr. Fourth of July himself, this should own the box office for that week. It will be very interesting seeing Will Smith as a superhero (something he hasnt done yet). I think it is a good move for him to have his own superhero that isnt previously based on prior character which should allow for us to see all the Smith we can handle.

LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME......o_o.....

I think it would have been more interesting if Hancock took the perspective of a 'villian'. And, the hero at the end would be more of a background character.

Im sorry but how mature can SHH get? Chill Dave there only words they wont hurt you.
Film should be great. Im looking forward to it. Doesnt stop it from having the worlds most stupid title. I heard from a number of people the Tonight, he comes script was better. But what do I know Im Immature.

Looks great. I really, REALLY wish W.B. would have gotten him for a G.L. film first though. He'd have made a kicka$$ Jon Stewart.

Vader,
I hadn't thought of that yet, but I have to agree that Will Smith would have been a very good Jon Stewart!
(Of course, I would rather see a Hal Jordan movie, seeing as he is the original DC Comics GL from the Green Lantern Corps. I've always liked Hal the most. A Green Lantern Corps movie would be awesome!)

vy7rjsI guess this is a different take on the makings of a Superhero on the bigscreen. I would have like to see him take on a real villian and not human villians. Spoiler..................Also Theron isn't a villian or evil, even though she has powers.

Good Lord the movie does look sweet but the costume is terriable.
