The New Dark Knight Trailer!
Source:Superhero Hype!
May 4, 2008
Warner Bros. Pictures has brought online the new trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight, hitting conventional theaters and IMAX on July 18. The Batman Begins follow-up stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman.
In the film, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good with the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Eckhart). The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Ledger), who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.
You can watch the trailer in High Definition QuickTime and Flash format here!

Pause it on the shot of Dent in the car holding the gun to his face. Looks like he has a bit of "dirt" on his chin, and under his nose, and on his nose, and above his eye all on the left side. Hmm, weird. I don't think I've ever seen a politician be so dirty; I just hope he's not two-faced for the sake of Gotham.

when eckjhart is holding a gun you can see a glimp of two face, just a little..you have to pause.

This ruined Iron Man for me lol

Look closely and you can see, the other half of Two Face can almost bee seen for the first time. Look where Harvey is riding the backseat of a car with a pistol held up next to his face.

****ING AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Yes, you can just barely see the other side of Harvey in that shot. Heath's Joker looks like he'd give Nicholson's Joker nightmares.

"You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
-- Harvey Dent
That's the coolest foreshadowing reference I've heard in a long time. What I loved most about Batman Begins was the brilliant writing; from what I've seen so far, this film's script will keep that same wit and intensity.
In other words, a movie reaches its full potential when great visuals are matched by great writing. Now that I look at what I just typed, that seems to be a "master of the obvious" statement. Oh well, awesome trailer!

When you pause the scene with Dent holding the gun and you see his face, you can also see as if his suit it altered as well on the left shoulder.

Harv is def mashed up in that one frame and it also appears that Joker throws Rachel off the building. If only it were Katie Holmes instead.

That was an AWESOME trailer!!! I saw Iron Man yesterday and this trailer was attached. This movies is gonna be kicka**!!! But my question is, does anyone think Ranchel is going to die? It's just something I've been thinking about since I saw the trailer.

Great trailer yes...and everyone keeps saying that this is gonna be the most kickass film of the summer...
But remember...95% of us said the same exact thing about Spider-Man 3 last year, before we were treated to emo-haircuts, crying (every character did!), Green Goblin X-TREEME!, a whole 5 minutes of Venom (and his way-too-hasty death), and a lot of dancing. Much of which wasn't featured in the trailer and had no idea was coming...other great examples of movies with awesome trailers that weren't so awesome as movies include Ghost Rider, X-3, AVP, Independence Day, and the last 3 Star Wars flicks...
Not hating on Batman here, but the point is not to get your hopes up people. The trailer kicks ass because in reality...all movie trailers are supposed to. They're what sparks the interest in the film to begin with. If the trailer didn't rock, then it would have failed in doing what it's supposed to do, secure your interest and your dollar.
Trailer looks good...but it doesnt pump me up at all, in fact, judging on what I just said, it worries me a bit. I'll reserve all judgements though for the films release...

Oh. My. God!! That was Amazing!!!!
I don't know how many times I'll see it in one day!! I'll be watching even that preview all day!!
