Eckhart on Dark Knight's Two-Face
May 4, 2008
In a new interview with the Los Angeles Times, Aaron Eckhart didn't shy away from dropping some big details about Two-Face in The Dark Knight. If you don't want to know a thing about the character in Christopher Nolan's movie, then be sure to turn back now!
Still here? Okay, here's just a small clip:
"I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It's like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid. I can't talk about it beyond that because I don't want to give away too much of the plans by Chris."
The thing is, he and Nolan did give away more in the interview, which includes a new photo and can be read in full here! The Batman Begins follow-up hits conventional theaters and IMAX on July 18.

Good choice.
I don't care what you emo fanboys say, Ledger's Joker will not be anything special.
Cesar Romero was the best... hands down.

Now Arron Eckhart is up to Play Harvey Dent A.K.A. Two-Face. I think he's going to a damn good job. Tommy Lee Jones did a good job, but two thing. One, it looked too comic-like and two, his face was even. Rick Baker did a good job on the make-up for the time. The thing I like about Chris Nolan is that he wants to make these movies look as real as possible. So one thing I'm looking for in the look for Two-Face is the imperfection. The look of the scare on his face as thou it happend very quickly. But there is only one way to see how Arron Eckhart is going to do is just wait and see.

Hmarrs:
Wassup. Yeah, I'll see what I can do - soon.
As to the Ledger emokids:
Sorry, as much as I have liked this druggie's work in the past, I'm not buying his whiney-voiced, 155 lbs., king-emo method acting. I'm not jumping on a bandwagon just b/c a guy died. I can only judge from the trailers I've seen and that is not looking good.
On topic, I think Eckhart will actually pull off a better Two Face than his predecessor.

Tommy Lee Jones was too old and ugly to be Two-Face. The Harvey Dent side of his face was scarier than the Two-Face side. Billy Dee got robbed!!!

I have high hopes for Eckhart's Dent/Two-Face. I never thought much of him in other movie roles, though. He just always seemed to be there to me. Maybe this will make him something special.

Get off that iPhone (or whatever weaksauce PDA you have) and save a life you dolt.
Also, comment on how you just love Eckhart's cleft chin. :P

k spoiler here " And Harvey Dent has an extremely strong sense of justice. His fiancée is killed. He's horribly injured."
does that mean Rachel?

This movie is going to be great! I am soo glad they rebooted this franchise, I'm still trying to forget the bat suit nipples compliments of Joel Schumacher

hrm...well, read the Long Halloween, then read the article, and then go see the movie. I think it's gonna be the same thing, except without holiday. The scary part is, if Eckhart's performance is as freaky as everyone agrees ledger's performance was, who are they gonna get to replace ledger and match eckhart?
Posted by: The Dub on May 4, 2008 at 02:48:12
""""Spoiler"""""
saw bootleg and it looks like someone is forcing dent's face on the floor and he's yelling no appearing that something is coming towards him on the floor. So I can understand the peeling away of the face.

Impulse, I hear you...me and some friends were talking about the worse superhero movie of all time and Batman and Robin still holds the coveted spot, with Spider-Man 3 not far behind.

I don't care what Rhodes Owns Stark says. Neither should anyone else. You're not to be taken seriously by calling people "emo fanboys" for liking Ledger and shooting off offensively judgmental comments. How about creating a mature commentary that has some rational depth or is that a weakness you shy away from.
